An innovative and dynamic literature based drama program. A professional actor/teacher will lead the class in exploring and dramatizing specially selected children’s stories. The students then create and act out their own original stories based on these books. These stories come from all over the world and are carefully chosen for each age group.
**Can also be offered as a Spanish Immersion class**

A popular and flavorful literature-based arts program that makes books come alive, sizzle, and pop! In this class, picture books inspire math and/or science activities. Through movement, manipulatives, and dramatization of a story, students embody concepts such as pattern recognition, shape identification, measurements, counting and more! The program is customizable and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your students.
Combines music, creative movement, and story telling for your youngest actors. In each class children enjoy an interactive story performed by the teaching artist. They then explore the themes of the story through songs, simple instrument play, dance, and creative movement games. Singin’ and Stories can be offered as a preschool/nursery school class or as a parent-child class.
